OTHER USES OF FLOWERS ASIDE DECORATIONS.

 
DIFERRENT TYPES OF FLOWERS

Flowers have long been used by humans, in this our modern days, people have sought ways to cultivate, buy, wear, or otherwise be around flowers and blooming plants, partly because of their agreeable appearance and smell. Around the world, people use flowers for a wide range of events and functions that, cumulatively, encompass one's lifetime:  For new births, as a corsage or boutonniere to be worn at social functions or for holidays, as tokens of love, for weddings for bridal party, and decorations for the hall also for funeral flowers and expressions of sympathy for the grieving. 
Aside the common uses of the flowers we known, let’s also look at some specific flowers and their use

  NASTURTIUM FLOWER

Tropaeolum majus,commonly known as nasturtium or Indian cress, refers to a type of flowering plant that many young or beginning gardeners use commonly. These plants are very easy to maintain since, often, you can simply plant them and leave them alone. 
Outside of their use for introducing children to gardening, nasturtium flowers are commonly used in salad gardens. The flowers of the plant, as well as the immature seed pods and leaves, can be used within salads as a tangy flavouring. The immature seed pods also can be pickled, while mature seeds may become a roasted snack or flavouring  similar to pepper. The flower petals can be used to create vinegar or used within other food recipes.
   SUNFLOWER
Sunflowers are used for a number of different common, everyday things. Sunflower oil, for example, is used for frying foods or other kinds of cooking purposes. It can also be used in infant formula and to give snack foods a longer shelf life. Sunflower seeds provide a healthy snack for both humans and animals. Sunflower meal can be used as well to provide high-fiber food to animals.
JASMINE FLOWER
Plants within the  jasmium species are known as jasmine plants. The flowers of jasmine plants are highly fragrant, jasmine flowers are harvested extensively for several different uses. Jasmine flower oil, for instance, is extracted from collected flowers and turned into a number of different other compounds, including terpineol, jasmone and benzyl acetate. In its pure form, jasmine flower oil becomes a key ingredient in perfumes and bath products like soap and shampoo. Jasmine tea is also a popular use of the flower. Medicinally, claims exist that jasmine helps with cancer treatments, ringworm and tapeworm infections, and acts as a calming agent.
LILLY FLOWER
Dried day lilies are reported to act as an effective diuretic or laxative, and the flowers and roots of most lilies have been used to treat spider bites.
Wood lily roots are a source of medicinal teas that early natives used to treat stomach disorders, coughs, tuberculosis, fevers and childbirth pains. When cooked down further, these teas can be used to wash swollen bruises, open wounds and sores to speed healing and help deter infection.

Dried and fresh bulbs can be boiled to treat visible inflammations and ulcers, while fresh bulbs can be bruised and applied to hard tumours to soften them more quickly. Juice from fresh bulbs are also said to be an excellent cure for dropsy.
TULIP FLOWER
The colourful flowers on the tulip poplar tree attract bees and hummingbirds. The flowers produce especially high-quality nectar that's beloved by hummingbirds and bees alike. Settlers and European lumber barons used tulip poplar wood to make houses and other structures, furniture and baskets. Aside from construction, tulip poplars were logged to make canoes, ships and paper pulp. Tulip poplars also have some medicinal uses. Mainly, the tulip poplar's inner bark and roots contain hydrochlorate and tulipiferine.These are alkaloids used as heart stimulants.

ROSE FLOWER

Roses can be eaten, but you need to remove the white base from the petal first. The white base is bitter and can ruin the taste of the dish. You can add rose petals to your salad or use in making jelly. But roses aren't just used to add flavour to a dish, as they can also add texture to your food. In addition, roses add colour to dishes when used as a garnish.
Roses are used to fragrance perfumes, soaps and other oiletries, rose can also be used in a number of places in your landscape. Some roses grow low to the ground, and are suitable as ground cover. These low-growers can also be used to create borders or as edging in the lawn. Climbing roses, such as the May queen, can be used to adorn fences, the side of a home and garden structures.
Patio roses, such as pink Pollyanna and red rascal, are small and grow between two to four feet tall. They bloom all summer and take up minimal space. Roses can be grown and used as a screen or hedge in the landscape, or wrapping around a trellis, for example. There are rose bushes and shrubs too.
